Cathodic corrosion protection in underground parking garage building 6 In the basement of the research and development building in Mühldorfstraße in Munich (built around 1985) there is an underground parking garage, which is divided into two wings: Building 6 with approx. 690 m² of floor space and 22 parking spaces and Building 7 with approx. 990 m² and 20 parking spaces. As part of a comprehensive concrete repair measure, the underground garage area of building 6 was specifically equipped with cathodic corrosion protection (CCP). The choice of this method enabled a permanently effective protection of the load-bearing components with minimal intervention in the building fabric. Strip anodes were used, which were professionally installed in the areas exposed to corrosion on support bases, wall bases and foundation components. The Noxeco system used impressed with its simple integration, reliable current control and lasting protective effect in the chloride-contaminated area of the underground car park. The chosen solution makes a significant contribution to maintaining the load-bearing capacity and durability of the structure. Strip anodes: 342 m
