The structure described is an underground garage that was built in 1990 and has four floors with a floor area of around 10,250 square meters. A notable feature is the use of a cathodic corrosion protection system (CCP) for the first two basement levels, while the repair work for the third and fourth basement levels was carried out conventionally.

The repair work carried out affected various areas such as floors, walls, supports and ceilings. A combination of anode tapes and rod anodes was used as the anode material.

The floor area amounts to 4480 square meters, the anode strips extend over a total length of 25,300 meters, and a total of 587 rod anodes were installed.
